I became a dermatologist because skin is the most visible organ — and yet the most misunderstood. People spend more money on skincare than almost anything else, and most of it does not work. Not because the products are useless, but because the underlying problem was never correctly identified.
The patient I see most often is not someone with a rare condition. Dr. Shakeel Abdul Jabbar is a dedicated dermatologist with a passion for blending medical expertise with the art of aesthetic care. With more than five years of clinical experience, he has helped patients of all age groups manage a wide range of skin, hair and nail concerns — from chronic medical conditions to confidence-boosting cosmetic treatments.
His journey began with an MBBS from NEIGRIHMS, Shillong, followed by an MD in Dermatology, Venereology & Leprosy from NEIGRIHMS. During his post-graduate training he developed a special interest in laser-based skin treatments, training extensively in:
